YOCE and the DMF have a task! as volunteers and change makers we need to shape the future and pave a better way to 2030. Let me qoute "The way to get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning be it humanitarian, educational, health care, cultural or environmental...."

A campaign which seeks to raise awareness about the dangers and effects of substance abuse. The North East District has been seized with the issue substance abuse and cross boarder in the region as a result we have included plans to tackle this scourge in our Provincial Strategic Goal 3 which is led by the Department of Health.
Our goal is to combine efforts and resources into tackling not only the social ills which plague our community but the root causes which often include drug and alcohol abuse. The Departments that are involved in these efforts include Botswana Police Service .Drugs & Nicotine Department ,Botswana Unified Revenue Service , The Community, schools and the Health Sector To address drugs addiction in the region and crossed boarder , we embarked on a campaign that engages mainly the youth people. The project has now been running for a year, and we have received very good feedback from our NGO partner in this venture, about the positive responses from clients.
